A pun on the government run finishing school @ Kerala

Former UN undersecretary and noted writer Shashi Tharoor said this in a meeting with CEOs at Technopark in Kerala

More effective communication is needed for which Kerala would find a finishing school inevitable. Hardsell is a must. Setting up finishing schools that focuses on finetuning communication skills can trigger IT sector growth. A global IT major like Infosys has decided to spread its wings with a special campus in Technopark. But, somewhere, a potential investor to Kerala would be in the dark of its newest strides. Communication is important in IT sector investment and so setting up of a finishing school cannot be too early

A  finishing school    was a term used in the late 60s in USA.

A finishing school prepared their  female students for marriage.

Don’t mistake that  term here… Shasi Tharoor felt the need for giving a final touch for our students (girls and boys) in soft skills before taking up any jobs.

A highly qualified  Malayalee still spells “Moon” as “Emma Oha Yet Another Oha Enna”.
